If you want your Flash player to smoothly play the stream, you’ve got two options: ditch the intro file or switch to using the Flash media player provided within our Client Centre. It’s a simple fix that makes a big difference.

How to Troubleshoot the Issue

1. Verify It’s the Flash Player: Let’s make sure the problem lies with the Flash player and not your stream. Here’s what you can do:

- Head over to your stream using the Flash player.

- Notice any stuttering? Now, try opening your stream in a different player, like the one provided within our Client Centre.

If the stuttering disappears with the alternative player, you’ve got your culprit: the Flash player.

2. Check Your Stream Specs: Now, let’s dive a bit deeper:

- Make sure your stream’s bitrate is 128kbps or lower.

- Check that the sample rate is set to 44100Hz.

- Ensure your stream has stereo channels.

If your stream specs don’t match up, it could be causing the stuttering issue.

3. Tweak Your Stream Settings: If your stream’s sample rate or bitrate is different from what we recommended earlier, it’s time to make some adjustments. You’ll need to re-encode your files to match these specs to ensure smooth playback on any Flash player.
